Štefan Horony


Junior Associate

Štefan Horony graduated from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava in 2022 and has since worked as a junior associate at Bartosik Svaby. During his studies, he completed a one-semester study exchange in Lisbon, where he focused on selected issues of European and international law.

In addition to his role as a junior associate, Štefan is pursuing postgraduate studies at the Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law at Comenius University, where his research focuses mainly on specific issues in substantive civil law. He is a co-author of a practical commentary on the Civil Code.

Within his specialization, Štefan primarily provides legal advice on the leasing of commercial premises, preparing analyses and legal opinions on lease relationships, where he combines his expertise with practical solutions, taking into account clients' individual needs.

Štefan also has experience in bankruptcy law, handling bankruptcy proceedings in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the United States. Additionally, Štefan advises on energy law, including issues concerning subsidies and state aid. He also represents clients in litigation proceedings, particularly property owners in commercial disputes and employers in labor disputes.

Štefan is fluent in Slovak, Hungarian, and English.
