Andrej Kostroš

Andrej Kostroš has been practicing law since 2018 and joined Bartosik Svaby in 2020. He has been registered as an attorney with the Slovak Bar Association since 2022. His work focuses primarily on real estate, dispute resolution, M&A transactions and intellectual property and technology law.

In the field of real estate and development, Andrej provides comprehensive legal services to owners and managers of shopping centres and office buildings. His expertise covers a wide range of contractual documentation, including lease agreements, service agreements and other contracts related to daily operations. He also advises on development projects throughout the entire construction lifecycle, from the preparation of initial contractual terms and drafting of works contracts to engineering-related legal matters.

Andrej has broad litigation experience, representing clients at all levels of court proceedings. His litigation practice spans civil, commercial, employment, and criminal cases. In criminal proceedings, he has developed significant experience representing injured parties, including in pre-trial phases and police investigations.

In the area of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Andrej assists clients during both the due diligence phase and in drafting transaction documentation. He has been involved in M&A projects across various sectors, including real estate, software, and industrial businesses. Andrej also advises on intellectual property and technology law matters, primarily in connection with preparing contractual documentation for clients providing software solutions.

As part of his day-to-day support for corporate clients, Andrej regularly advises on corporate governance, shareholder relationships, and employment matters. He prepares founding documentation and shareholder agreements (SHA), and provides ongoing legal support tailored to the specific operational needs of businesses.

Andrej is fluent in Slovak, English, and German.
